Delete your Slayte Chat account data

Slayte Chat works without an account. The account link is an optional feature available only
with an account we issue to you. This page applies only if you signed in with it.
How to request deletion
Email privacy@snakesteak.xyz from your account's login id, or include your login id in the
email. We complete the request within 30 days and confirm by email.
What is deleted
The account (login id, login sessions, devices and device tokens, pairings) and the synced
content created from that account's devices: the conversations and messages on our sync server, series and storyboard text (titles, story text, shot prompts,
dialogue, sound notes), and file information (name, size, checksum, location) held on the sync
server. Your password is stored only as a one-way hash and is deleted with the account.
Synced content is stored separately per account, so deleting the account deletes only that account's content. The account's AI usage records (device ID, request time, model name, streaming, success or failure status, token counts, daily totals) are deleted with it; they are also deleted automatically after 90 days even without a request.
Deleting a conversation or series inside the app is different: it is marked deleted on the sync
server and permanently removed by a daily cleanup after 30 days. "Disconnect" in the app only
signs the device out and deletes its device token; content already synced stays on our server
until you request deletion. Expired login sessions are cleaned up automatically.
What we keep, and for how long
Nothing for our own use. Our database provider keeps automatic point-in-time recovery history,
so deleted data can remain in that history for up to 30 days after deletion, after which it is
gone. We do not access it in normal operation. Processing of your request takes at most 30 days.
Data that is not on our servers
- Data stored only on your phone: delete conversations in the app, or uninstall the app /
clear its storage.
- Data passed through our server to an AI service provider, and data you sent to an AI service you connect yourself, your own server or your own PC, follows those parties' policies.
